They formed as guitarist and singer Jeff Ott's other band Crimpshrine was winding down, and Fifteen quickly kicked into gear, touring and recording many records for Lookout! and Sub City Records, including 1996's There's No Place Like Home EP. Over the course of the band, they had many member changes, with a great coincidence of having fifteen members over the course of their career. They split up in 1996,
