Hosta Surfer Dude Podophyllum If your 'Northwind' clumps get(syn: H. 95 36) This unusual hosta was derived from a 1994 cross of Hosta rupifraga x Hosta plantaginea. The 3' wide clump is composed of upright leaves that arch outwards like a giant wave. The leaves also have a unique wavy edge we haven't seen in any other hostas. In August and September, Hosta 'Surfer Dude' is adorned with 30" spikes of splendid, large, purple and white striped buds, opening to large, slightly fragrant flowers. We have chosen not
