He is stamped with Made in Occupied Japan in black on the underside. He certainly has a determined, and rather mean, look on his face. It measures 3 3 8 in height at his bat and is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or wear there is what looks like a scuff on his arm, but this is underglaze, so original to the making of the piece.
