The citrus-colored sample of the 2020 Vouvray Le Haut-Lieu Moelleux Première Trie still shows a very fine CO2 perlage in the glass that opens with clear and concentrated but also lush fruit and floral and chalky aromas

The tannins are silky

Roulot, Auxey Duresses 1er Cru Vintage:2018 This could use better depth(from Bas des Duresses and Les Grands Champs; 50% whole clusters). This is aromatically similar to the Monthlie though with a much broader array of floral elements thanks to the substantial percentage of whole clusters. The barely middleweight flavors are also on the lighter side but with better punch and notably better depth on the lingering and slightly more structured finale. This is really quite pretty and fashioned in an understated style.
