vivacious red berry nose infused with ash and cigar box aromas

Interestingly this is much more floral than the Champonnets with notes of rose petal

Anjou pear and green apple mingled with notions of freshly baked bread

A markedly floral nose is comprised by additional notes of white orchard fruit, citrus peel and a hint of resin. There is excellent volume to the caressing but powerful and muscular middle weight plus flavors that terminate in a serious, long and sappy finish. At least some patience will be necessary if you wish to enjoy this at its peak.
