This 50s Italian skirt and top set is decorated with gimp like braid appliqu detailed with cellophane like strips (view close up photos). The skirt is beautifully quilted throughout in an elliptical diamond pattern. The top is made of a wool knit, has a bateau or boat neckline, 3 4 length sleeves and is made to accentuate the body silhouette.
