These Lycoris radiata var. pumila represent different genetics from the plants typically offered for sale in the US. Lycoris 'Red China' is a mid to late August (NC) cherry red flowering strain that produces 26" tall green stalks, topped with clusters of 5 6 very narrow petalled spidery orange red flowers. After
