Label:  only an ILGWU union label that was in use from 1955 until 1964

The velvet features a rich deep red colour almost burgundy

Condition: This vintage Crombie cloth coat is in very good condition with no pronounced wear - there is a wear spot to the lining just above the pocket with the Crombie label

Each is in very good condition - some degradation to the yellow detail of the transfer print (see last close-up photo)

Westerwald has a long history of producing this type of salt glazed stoneware. The piece has raised representations of King Gambrinus and a couple of gnomes amongst hops vines.
