Domaine Morey-Coffinet 'Les Houillères' Chassagne-Montrachet 2023 Size:Regular The winemaking at de MontilleFrom a 0. 5 hectare parcel of vines planted in 1955 and 1956, located close to the Encgnires and Vide Bourse 1er Crus. Fermentation begins in tank, then the wine is aged in 228 and 350 L French Allier oak barrels for 12 months, 35% new. Morey Coffinet was founded in the late 1970s by Michel Morey (son of the late Marc Morey) and his wife Fabienne (from the Pillot clan). Their son, Thibault, succeeded the couple, taking the helm of the estate in 2009.
