The root is dark brown and textured, with the lower tooth polished over the surface, The edges have weathered serration with a few small chips. The otodus megalodon is an extinct species of shark that swam and lived in warm oceans globally, from the Miocene to Pliocene eras. The largest Megalodon tooth ever found has been just under 7 1 2 inches long!
