It is in very good condition - the scrolls seem to be detached on the interior towards the handle

My understanding is that the blue mark underglaze normally is indicative of an authentic piece

The Spindletop was known for its delicious steaks and salads and is documented as the restaurant that Roger Maris went to supper at after hitting his record breaking 61st home run on October 1st 1961. It is reported that he ate a steak that was the size of Yogi Berras mitt.
