The 2006 Croizet Bages, a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Merlot, has a rather monotone nose that needs more personality and more expression of its terroir. It is slightly oxidized on the nose. The palate is sweet on the entry with slightly coarse tannin, abrasive in texture with a slightly acetic finish. The 2005 appears to be ageing better and I would drink this sooner rather than later. There is
